Mainz manager Thomas Tuchel has dismissed reports that he is to take the managerial job at Werder Bremen.
The 39-year-old has been in charge at the Coface Arena for almost four years and he guided Mainz to a 13th place finish in the Bundesliga this season.
Werder Bremen are looking for a new boss following the sacking of Thomas Schaaf, but Tuchel insists he will not be making the switch.
"I am manager of FSV Mainz 05 and I am under contract with this club," he told Deutsche Presseagentur.
"I am not going to join Werder Bremen. I will not be manager of that club next season."
